ROMANS 1路24-25 (Week #14)
Greetings,
Welcome to this week's edition of Sacred Scriptures Saturday where we provide a set of Holy Scriptures to help enlighten your spiritual journey and deepen your relationship with our Saviour King Christ Jesus of Nazareth. Remember, His Holy Word is the light that guides us safely to calmer waters.
Holy Scripture -> ROMANS 1路24-25
New Living Translation (NLT)*
The Holy Bible (1996)
24 So G-d abandoned them to do whatever shameful things their hearts desired.
As a result,
they did vile and degrading things with each other鈥檚 bodies.
25 They traded the truth about G-d for a lie.
So they worshiped and served the things G-d created instead of the Creator himself,
who is worthy of eternal praise!
Amen.
Holy Scripture -> ROMANS 1路24-25
Authorized KING JAMES VERSION (AKJV)*
The Holy Bible (1611)
24 Wherefore G-d also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts,
to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
25 who changed the truth of G-d into a lie,
and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator,
who is blessed for ever.
Amen.
Holy Scripture -> ROMANS 1路24-25
Geneva Version (GNV)*
The Holy Bible ( 1599)
24 [a]Wherefore [b]also G-d [c]gave them up to their hearts lusts,
unto uncleanness,
to defile their own bodies between themselves:
25 Which turned the truth of G-d unto a lie,
and worshipped and served the creature,
forsaking the Creator which is blessed forever,
Amen.
Footnotes:
[ a ] ROMANS 1路24 --> The unrighteousness of men he setteth forth first, in this, that even against nature following their lusts, they defiled themselves one with another, by the just judgment of G-d.
[ b ] ROMANS 1路24 --> The contempt of religion, is the fountain of all mischief.
[ c ] ROMANS 1路24 --> As a just judge.
We encourage you to meditate and reflect this weekend upon these Holy Scriptures as you ought to spend precious time deepening your relationship with our Saviour King Christ Jesus of Nazareth. May this message find you well, until next time.
